The 16th International Gastric Cancer Congress on May (7), 8, 9 & 10 of 2025
The International Gastric Cancer Congress, which is held every 2 years, has always been a place where all experts on Gastric Cancer come together to share and discuss the latest insights of diagnosis and treatment of this often deadly disease. As the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer is multidisciplinary the congress focusses on all aspects involved. Therefore the congress is of interest for many specialists, like surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, pathologists and radiologists.
In all of these disciplines new developments occur rapidly. New Gastroenterology techniques lead to earlier detection and better endoscopic treatment. New Radiology features lead to better staging, whereas new Surgical techniques, like sentinel node, laparoscopic and robot-assisted procedures, lead to less invasive operations and quicker recovery. New pathology techniques lead to a better definition of each tumor and give rise to targeted and other systemic therapies. Furthermore radiation therapies improve and are applied pre- and postoperatively and in palliative settings.
We expect to welcome between 1500 and 2000 participants from all over the world.
Yours sincerely,
Congress President
